End of Year Class Trips

End of Year Class Trips 2016-2017

Annual end-of-year class trips have become a signature feature of Brazos Christian and a highlight for the students and parents alike.  The 2016-17 class trip schedules are taking shape. The cost listed below includes all trip expenses (e.g. meals and 1 bag charge on flights), except for personal souvenirs and snacks. We encourage all students to participate in their respective class trips. Parents are welcome to join us. Some parent costs are slightly higher due to ticket prices, room accommodations (generally two per room versus four per room for students), etc.  Reservations need to be made early to help with planning and to keep costs down.

In an effort to help families cover the costs of the trips, these costs have been spread out over six monthly payments posted directly to the family’s BCS account. The first charge to your account will be November, 1, 2016.  If you decide NOT to participate in the trip, please notify the business office (Cheri Head) or the LS/RS office (Wendy Kay) by Wednesday, October 28th. Once notified, we will remove the charge from your account. If you notify us after October 28th, you will be responsible for any costs incurred for reservations or deposits made on your behalf.

 If you intend for your student NOT to attend his/her respective class trip.

 If you, as a parent, plan to attend a class trip. (NOTE: Parents attending the trips are expected to participate fully in a chaperone capacity. Many of the trips include large     amounts of walking. Specifics regarding these expectations will be given following registration and upon request.)

7th Grade: Texas History Trip (4 days)

Approximate dates: May 22-25
Cost: Student = $690; Adult = $810 
Payments: Six (6) payments of $115 (or $135 per parent) billed to your account November through April.

Approximate dates: May 232-26
Cost: Student = $1,560; Adult = $1,710
Payments: Six (6) payments of $260 (or $285 per parent) billed to your account November through April.

9th Grade: Outdoor Experience – Colorado (8 days)

Approximate dates: May 19-26
Cost: Student = $1110; Adult = $1110 
Payments: Six (6) payments of $185 (or $185 per parent) billed to your account November through April.

10th Grade: Mission Experience – New Orleans (5 days)

Approximate dates: May 22-26
Cost: Student = $1050; Adult = $1050
Payments: Six (6) payments of $175 (or $175 per parent) billed to your account November through April.

11th Grade: Fine Arts Experience – New York (5 days)

Approximate dates: May 22-26
Cost: Student = $1,890; Adult $ 2,310

12th Grade: International/Humanities Experience – Alpine Europe (8 days)

Approximate dates: May 18-26
Cost: Student = $3095; Adult = $3,195 
Payments: Six (6) payments of $516 (or $532.50 per parent) billed to your account November through April.
SPONSOR: Sabine Branch
