Giving to Brazos Christian School

As the Brazos Valley continues to grow around us, our school must grow as well. That way, we are able to meet the needs of families looking for a school that provides a college preparatory curriculum with classical elements and a biblical worldview. Through generous gifts from our philanthropic donors, Brazos Christian School will be able to increase its reach across the Brazos Valley and impact the lives of current and future students looking for a Christ-centered education.

Ways To Give

Gifts of Cash

Cash gifts are the simplest and easiest gifts you can make to Brazos Christian. We accept personal checks, credit/debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express), outright cash, cashier’s checks and money orders.

Gifts of Securities

Brazos Christian accepts donations of securities at any dollar value. Stock that has increased in value is one of the most popular assets used for charitable giving, once it has been held for a minimum of a year. Making a gift of securities to us offers you the chance to help the school while realizing many important benefits for yourself. It is very important that you or your financial advisor contact The Development Office in advance of the gift to ensure proper documentation and receipting.

Planned Giving

Bequests are one of the most popular and simplest ways to make a gift. We hope you’ll tell us when you have named Brazos Christian School in your will or living trust. We would very much like the opportunity to thank you for your generosity. You can leave a specific item, a dollar amount or a percentage of your estate.

Your attorney can use the following language in preparing your bequest of the benefit of Brazos Christian School:

"I give, devise and bequeath to Brazos Christian School, a nonprofit corporation organized in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas for the purpose of supporting Brazos Christian School, an educational institution, located in Bryan, Texas, the following described property:___________________ for its unrestricted use and purpose."

Gifts in Honor, Memorial or Celebration

A meaningful way to honor a loved one or a special occasion is to make a gift to Brazos Christian School in honor or memory of that person. Donors wishing to make a gift in memoriam may make a gift of any amount.

Each gift received in honor or in memory of an individual is acknowledged by a special note sent to the appropriate family member.

Gift Matching

Brazos Christian accepts donations of equipment, materials and supplies that provide relief to the operating budget or align with our current priorities. Please contact the Development Office in advance of an in-kind gift.
