About Patron of the Arts
The Patron of the Arts (POTA) booster club’s mission is to support Brazos Christian students and faculty as they glorify God through artistic pursuits. The organization was started in July 2021 by David Hansen, Fine Arts Department Chair. POTA supports Brazos Christian art programs in two ways: financial support and service opportunities. Financial support has primarily been raised through POTA membership dues and senior parking space sales. Service opportunities include assisting at concerts, planning and setting up for art shows, and participation at planning meetings.
As our organization continues to grow, we look forward to finding more ways to support our faculty as they help our students grow their artistic skills.
Support our Arts Programs
Consider supporting our Patron of the Arts Booster Club at any of the following levels. You gifts will help grow our Arts programs and provide the best equipment and technology for our students as possible!
Corporate Sponsorships - $1,000
- Company logo featured in all programs for POTA events
- Slide with ad to be displayed on the screens before POTA events
- Company ad in email newsletter sent to all parents the week of POTA events
- Use of DeGallery event space for a 3 hour event
Membership Levels
- Sapphire - $50
- Membership in the Patron of the Arts

- Ruby - $150
- Membership in the Patron of the Arts

- 1 FREE ADMISSION to a 1-day art class or camp at DeGallery
- Diamond - $500 (limited to only 10 members)
- Membership in the Patron of the Arts

- Name listed in all programs for POTA events
- 4 seats in reserved section for band and choir concerts, 4th grade musical, one act play, and grandparents day
- 1 parking spot reserved for arts events at the school
- Name listed on the school's website as Diamond level member of Patron of the Arts
- 1 FREE ADMISSION to a week long kids art camp admission at Degallery

During POTA’s inaugural year, arts were enhanced in the following ways:
- Senior Parking Space Painting (added art to campus and raised funds for projects)
- Hosted three general meetings that included student art or a student musical performance
- Purchased additional risers for Grammar School musical programs
- Purchased xylophones for Grammar School music classes
- Purchased art smocks for Grammar School visual art classes
- Hired a professional artist to guest teach several Logic & Rhetoric School visual arts classes
- Hired a professional musician to guest teach Jazz Band
- Mounted and displayed Grammar School art for Grandparents’ Day
- Sponsored Logic School Choir contest entry fees
- Sponsored a working dinner for One Act Play cast prior to district competition
- Hosted a Spring Art Show at DeGallery featuring selected art pieces from students in 3rd -12th grade and music from the Jazz Band
