About Thomas Scott Moore

Thomas Moore, was a Brazos Christian Student whose smile brightened everyone’s day. Thomas enjoyed the outdoors, Aggie sports and playing with his many friends. His smile and words of encouragement graced the halls and playground of Brazos Christian with his friendly, joyous and fun-loving spirit. Simply put, he was a friend to all. On Saturday, February 6, 2010, Thomas Scott Moore went home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ. Thomas’ mom, Terri, still serves faithfully as our librarian. His sister, Megan, graduated from Brazos Christian in 2015, and his brother, Jonathan, graduated from Brazos Christian in 2020.

About the Thomas Scott Moore Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund

In honor and memory of Thomas Scott Moore, the Brazos Christian School Board of Trustees and the Moore family have established the Thomas Scott Moore Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund. This fund provides financial assistance to families seeking to attend Brazos Christian School but need financial help to do so. Just as Thomas was a blessing to all those around him — and just as he and his memory live on, we pray that this endowment will be a source of enduring blessings to those who desire a Christian education for generations to come.

Giving to the Endowment Fund

Making a gift to an endowment fund requires a special heart, one of planting seeds for a future harvest. It is in this spirit that the Brazos Christian Board decided to partner with the Moore family by dedicating the monies earned from the annual golf tournament (in addition to year-round donations) to help grow the Thomas Scott Moore Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund. The generous sacrifice of our donors over the last 10+ years has allowed us to surpass our minimum goal of $500,000. Since 2017 we have been able to award scholarships to families that could not otherwise attend Brazos Christian School. Your continued support will allow us to reach even more families.
