In addition to the Bible curriculum, teaching through a Biblical worldview, daily prayer and Scripture memorization, Grammar School students attend Chapel once per week. Chapel is divided into two sessions:
Session 1 for PreKindergarten through Second grades
Session 2 for Third through Sixth grades
Chapel consists of worship through song and prayer, followed by a message taught by a speaker from local youth pastors, children’s ministers, BCS administrators, and faculty. The teaching is focused on the school-wide Scripture passage being taught each year.
Logic and Rhetoric School Chapel
Our Logic and Rhetoric School students gather together on a weekly basis for a time of praise and worship and connecting with the Spirit of the Living God through teaching or small groups.
We have a full band of students that lead praise songs for their peers. The songs mostly consist of today's praise and worship from people such as Bethel Music, Hillsong, Matt Redman, David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Ross King, and others. Then, our students hear an encouarging and engaging message from local pastors, speakers, faculty, or staff. Every few weeks, the students gather in their small groups (that are put together at the beginning of the school year) to unpack what they have learned and talk about how to apply it.
Even though we are not the local church, we make the most of this time to gather as a group of believers to worship the Lord and meet with Him.
