Eagles Ready for Division III
As we kick off the 2026 football season, I want to thank our school family for the incredible support last year. Our Eagles went 12-1, ran the table in the regular season, won the district, and reached the TAPPS Division IV state championship game. That run was special because of the young men who bought into the process and represented Brazos Christian with class.
This year, we move up to TAPPS Division III. It’s a bigger challenge, and we welcome it. The standard here hasn’t changed. We still expect to compete for a state championship.
The 2026 roster is the largest in school history. We have sixteen seniors leading this team, and they are a dynamic group. We have one player committed to play Division I football and four others with offers. That experience and talent, combined with a hungry group of underclassmen, gives us a roster that can compete at this new level.
What I told the team is the same thing I want our community to know: talent comes and goes, but we will be a disciplined football team that plays hard every snap. That’s the identity we want.
Last year showed us what we’re capable of when we stay together and execute. This group has been there before, and they understand the work it takes.
We open at home tonight against Tyler All Saints. It’s a great chance for our students, families, and alumni to come out and pack the stands. Friday nights are about more than football.
They’re about our school community coming together.
I’m proud of these young men and the way they have prepared. We’re excited to represent Brazos Christian in a new division and chase another deep playoff run. Thank you for your prayers and support. Let’s have a great season.
